Double Action II inserts in forefoot and heel area for shock absorption. New perforated Axeler CCB Power Flow shank ensures proper midfoot rigidity while ensuing proper forefoot flexion. Outsole: Revolutionary Axeler technology features a thread-like frame in Tech Alloy that is inserted into the outsole, ensuring a more natural, graduated forefoot flexion that propels the foot forward while maintaining the necessary rigidity in the midfoot and heel. Flexoft blown rubber in the forefoot for cushioning, flexibility and reduced weight. Strategically placed Duratech 5000 compound placed in the heel to resist abrasion.

Purchased Diadora Mythos running shoe for 14yr old son on 10th February 2007 and within 8-9 weeks stitching/mesh has seperated causing hole in both left and right shoe on inside of foot. Waiting to see if Diadora is going to back all its hype about quality being as good as Nike/Asics etc.
